Around the Acreage: September Edition

A walk around the acreage always brings up something new and interesting. In early September, it was a Painted Lady butterfly on a yellow wildflower, some milkweed pods among the snake tail, a camera-shy grasshopper who, every time I tried to get an angle that showed his face, would rotate away from me, and a spider making repairs to its web.
