Gravel Travel: Spring in the Country

I know I’m not terribly good with the timeliness of these posts, so forgive me for taking you back a few months to early spring in Boone County where farmers are busy planting crops and baby calves folic in the pasture, but it’s such a great time on the farm I can’t not share it with you all!

These little guys were so much fun to watch. They were curious, but cautious as I walked along the fence line. The little red-white face guy in the second set of photos I’ve taken to affectionately calling “Bucky” after his unfortunate overbite. His expressions were priceless!

 

 

 

While it pains me a bit to photograph green tractors (sorry folks, I was raised red!)–I mean, let’s be real here, crops are green, tractors are red–I don’t have too many options for red tractors around me. For the sake of art, I do what I have to do.
