Dandelions in the Spring

I remember being surprised by how much everyone enjoyed my last dandelion post, so I thought I’d do another one. I shot these back in mid-May when I was desperate to photograph something with a bit of color after the long, grey and brown hues that were winter.

Dandelions may technically be a weed, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t pretty to look at. Occasionally. Until they overtake your whole yard. But, in May, when you’re begging mother nature to paint some color back into the landscape, you take what you can get.
