Leaves Falling, Autumn Calling

Autumn is my favorite time of year. Cool, crisp air, vibrant colors, comfort food, hoodies, football–I could go on and on. Below is a collection of autumn photos from some of my favorite Boone County locations (Kate Shelley High Bridge, an abandoned rail track, a quite pond, the Des Moines River Valley, and the Wagon Wheel Bridge), my own acreage included. I took a few of these shots last year, before I started this blog, and, since a some of them happen to be among my favorite shots, I thought I’d include them as well.
